Export procedures will vary depending on your needs, JP-Pets offers 3 main services based on the purchasing method that best suits you.

1. You want to buy a dog from an auction in Japan.

You make your request about the dog you want and the price. JP-Pets will find you a dog that best suits your requirements in that price range.

Benefits: The auction will have many breeders coming in and the chances of you being able to find a dog that is right for you will be greater.

Disadvantage: The cost for a dog may be higher than expected because you cannot bargain in auctions.

2. You buy directly from breeders in Japan

JP-PETS will export the dogs and cats that the customer directly negotiates with the breeder and purchases. We can also act on your behalf by negotiating with the breeder. You can also directly purchase dogs and cats owned by JP-PETS.

Benefits: Customers negotiate directly with the breeder, so you can negotiate at the best price for you without going through a third party. You can more specifically reflect your wishes.

Disadvantage: It can be difficult to negotiate directly with breeders in Japan from overseas due to language issues. In that case, we will support you from negotiation with the breeder to purchase, but the support fee will be charged separately.

3. You move for work, move home or return home and want to move your dog there.

JP-Pets will carry out the procedures to safely transfer your dog to the place you want.

We will estimate the budget according to your budget, desired breed, coat color, pedigree, etc.

After the we have agreed on the terms of sale, guarantee, refund… then we will sign the contract.

In the auction, our staff will participate in bidding at the auction site or online.
We will ask you in advance about your desired breed, gender, coat color, etc.

We will send you photos during the auction.
Please specify your desired puppy from among them and bid within the budget.

The auction will be considered successful after you choose the puppy you want.

In your country, you will need to obtain an import license. It is possible for individuals or to ask an agent, so please choose the method that is convenient for you.

Your puppy will arrive in your country by air freight. Customs clearance is required. You can do it individually, but you can also ask an import agency. Please choose the method that is convenient for you.

If you have already found the breeder you are looking for, we can also act on your behalf for the purchase. Please contact us.

Depending on the rarity of the breed and the birth status, the time it takes to find the desired puppy varies. Rare breeds can take months or more.
After the successful negotiation, we and you will start to carry out the import and export procedures for your puppy.

When you want to transport your own pet

If you want to move animals from Japan to your country and send the dogs and cats that your friend has entrusted to your country, or if you want to deliver the dogs and cats that you have already purchased from a Japanese breeder to your country, etc.

We will estimate the budget according to the breed, size and quantity. Please be assured that our professional veterinarians can take preventive measures and microchips to meet the import and export conditions. Even if you live outside of Tokyo, we can also handle air transportation to Tokyo and pick-up at your home.

After we confirm you have made the full payment we will carry out the export formalities.
